The big stack is all Sweet Gum cut to 4/4. Have a couple other pieces of it to go on as well that are cut to 8/4 but ran out of stickers to continue stacking. Not sure of exact plans for sweet gum yet as I'm not sure how its going to dry (its prone to twisting really bad. the piece in front is Black Cherry. I have 3 pieces currently cut to 8/4 and 9' long. There is still two more black cherry logs to cut up as well. Plan for the cherry is live edge epoxy river table(s). Haven't decided yet if I should do two end tables or one coffee table.

Some pics from yesterday after we milled the last two black cherry logs. Also a up close pic of some figure in on of the pieces of sweet gum and finally all of it neatly stacked and stickered in my basement. Enjoy.

That Black Cherry would make some beautiful cabinet work.

I posted this plane a while ago, but now it's done. Kinda cool seeing naked wood and dressed versions.

The best photo is the one of the smile on the happy builders face! Congratulations on a beautiful looking model. Let us know how it fly's?

All the best,

Plans built thanks to Outerzone. Tip dihedral flattened and ailerons added.

Big Guff fuselage. The Big Guff was one of the earliest radio controlled mode aircraft. It first flew in 1939. The engine is simply placed on the engine bearers, it is not screwed down.

The fuselage looks so huge until you start to think about the size of radio gear they had back in 1939.
