What do Tea Party Republicans really want?

Since the Tea Party takeover of the GOP in 2010, the nation has been in a constant state of turmoil. Inaction, coupled with stubbornness has taken the country from one crisis to the next, with the American people and world financial markets being strangled in the process.
What remains obscured in the epitome of GOP hostage negotiations is what do these people really want?
In both 2010 and 2012, Republican candidates ran on platforms of job creation and fiscal responsibility. But candidates elected have accomplished neither.

How about we look back to 2008 when Obama had a Democratic majority, and all he did was force Obamacare down our throats. Never mind that he couldn’t get a budget though congress or do anything positive to fix the economy.

So he can do more nothing? Remember that the Democratic Senate rejected his last three budgets unanimously.

Actually ... IF he is ... he's overstating his own power and importance.

The house stopped obama's reckless disregard for the constitution in many ways. Maybe soon the dems will have the house AND senate back and the further destruction of America can continue full speed.

Stubbornness takes two to create inaction. Interesting the OP doesn't castigate the Dems for refusal to cave.

Are you surprised or just stating the obvious?

Stating the obvious to cut through the intentional churn presented by the OP, whereby ignoring that the logical requirement for stalemate resulting from stubbornness involves two stubborn parties not one, is willfully and intentionally avoided.
