Strange that people would actually stand up for what they believe in rather than just following along like sheep...

agreed. And what's more strange is the complete division within a single party.

It just goes to show you how irrelevant groups like the Tea Party Express have become.

Do you think that people's perspective on things politically falls into only two points of view? This division is natural, especially for the party that is largely out of power.

Out of touch with reality, I'd say. That goes for both parties, by the way.

Libs just don't understand that... It requires independent thought instead of group thought, add to that critical thinking...

Standing for what they believe is not the problem. That is the one thing I will give them credit for to a certain extent. It's their beliefs that are the problem. That and refusing to accept anything less than 100% of their demands. That is not the way our government works.

Gravity is patient............
So compromise for compromise's sake. The important thing is to write meaningless legislation, it doesn't matter if it doesn't fix or address the problem at all, just forget what you believe and meet the other guys half way.

ps. That's how we got where we are. We've compromised our constitution to the point of unrecognizeable drivel, and now we have to compromise because our constitution appears like unrecognizable drivel.

This is what blows me away. Thats obviously what we need, and somebody actually posted on here yesterday that what we got was a "victory". Thats the one most asinine thing I think I have ever seen on this site.
