I haven't messed with the gains yet since my Visionaire seems to fly perfect with the AS3X gains factory settings. Are you saying that if we do put the gains down to 0 which is our way of turning the AS3X off, then we won't have full throws???

OOOPS sorrry for the confusion on my part, ......I agree 100% the AS3X works perfectly in the Visionaire and I too have no need to change it. Turboparker was initially referring to putting the AR635 in other aircraft, that said if we put it in other aircraft we lose the ability to turn the gyro on and off while maintaining high throws......something to think about depending on which aircraft it goes in.....if you choose to turn the gain all the way down you must also choose wether you do it on the high throw or low throw or both....
EDIT: refer to post 817.....
EDIT: turning the gain to zero should not affect throws

It would have been nice to have a switch way to turn off as3x via tx. I will never remember all that stuff.

The Visionaire looks like it would make a great night flyer. Anyone planning to load it up with LEDs and see how it handles the extra weight?

Maiden went well today, albeit COLD. Ran 2 packs through it at a local mall parking lot in the morning. Too cold to exercise it much, but there was already a good breeze and it handled it very well. Definitely going to enjoy flying this plane!

At $300 clams, one would have to have some stones to fly it at night. I will stick with the Vapor for night flying :-)
