Chilliwack Spring Fly-In 2013

I was speaking with a friend this evening, who was curious as to the level of interest in a Spring Fly-In to be held on the usual weekend (May 24-26) at the new home field of the Fraser Valley RC Flyers in Chilliwack, BC.

So if you are interested and plan on attending, please voice your support for another great event in this thread!

Count me in, obviously!

Ivan from Chilliwack

Thanks Frank for starting the ball rolling. I'll keep you posted as to how things are developing. The local boys were out flying off the new field yesterday to "fly-in" the New Year. A beautiful day with an thin layer of crisp snow on the ground, great sunshine, and the models looked great against the pure blue sky.

Catch you again later.

I'll miss it, but I'll be thinking of you all at the end of May (well, and other times too of course )

Ah, nice to see a BIMBO representative! Will you be bringing a model with you?

Sure would love to make it to Chilliwack again but we are planning a Florida vacation later in the year and two major vacations in one year probably wouldnt be affordable. I'll be there in spirit! Post lots of pictures and videos to those lucky enough to make it!

Yes!

There's just something about showing up with a model whose name no self-respecting Cannuck will correctly pronounce that I simply refuse to miss! (Vwa-san)

Will the Vwa-san be up for another speed contest this year, Ken?

I hear it actually stretches in length by 1/2" due to the effect of air friction heating the skin. Some scientists have actually installed an atomic clock on it and found that it goes out of sync with the same type cesium clock on the ground after a short flight. An incredible machine, to be sure.
