First solo FPV - i'm hooked

Flew my quad with a simple FPV pod on the front, bit of crash protection for the camera, and little more pool noodle for visual on top. Flew with a 3000mah, and a 2200. The 2200 went pretty fast. Was flying over very safe area, so gave it a little range push and flew well beyond visual, knowing if I lost contact, I was over safe area, and already flying pretty low. All good, with decent range on the HK 5.8 200's with patch. Bluebeams coming along with diversity unit for a bit more omni

Excellent experience.

Few short seconds of takeoff:

Nice. Is your quad considered a V-tail?

Looks like fun.

Don't give up on the Hawkeye.

Hi there. Yes, v-tail. I've never flown the HE FPV, but I know guys who have. Might be something to try next. Regards
