26AWG Silicone Wire

I sell 26AWG silicone wire on a Laser forum and heard it was popular with RC groups as well.
I'm not sure what gauge you guys normally use. I've got 26AWG silicone wire for sale on my website.

Comes in red and black. It's $0.20/ft which seems cheaper than any place I can find.

insulating silicone wall that's 0.01" thick
65 strands of 44AWG tin coated copper make up the core.
This stuff has the flexibility of a wet noodle.

I'm not sure of it's max amperage, but we regularly push 3A through it with no signs of stress or heating.

Hope this is useful, if not then i'm sorry for the spam!

A little light for anything aside from indoor stuff. Is great for LED wiring though.

For power systems we need 14-18 ga for mid size stuff and 8-12 for larger or high amp speed stuff.

This is good to know, I deal mainly in indoor/parkflyer size and go all the way down to 32 gauge for servo wires. Power wires in 30 to 26 gauge usually.

I will check out your site, I have not been able to find 26 or 28 gauge super flexy silicone wire, and do have customers asking for it occasionally.

Any chance of stocking larger gauge wires? Say, as large as 14 gauge?

If you had 22awg silicone as well i would definitely place an order. I usually like to buy most of my rc stuff from eBay but they really gouge on wire and shipping.

I would have to get quote on 14AWG wire. I'm assuming it would cost a lot more since it's so much bigger. Another problem is having to buy 10,000 feet of it in order to get the price low enough to sell it at a reasonable price, and then actually trying to sell 10,000ft lol

As far as wire by the roll, it is shipped to me on large 2500ft spools. I'm currently trying to find somewhere to buy small empty spools to wrap the larger 50+ ft orders onto.

I'm sure the market is there though. Looking from the prices of other places, it would be SO EASY to undercut their prices significantly.

For me, I use 22 or 26 AWG for servos. 22 is heavier duty stuff that I like to use on long stretches or if I extend ESC signal wires. For battery/ESC wires I use 14-16AWG. That's just me though.

I'd say 14-16 would be a good start.
