Can you alter E-flite electric retract travel/stopping point?

Basically I have a situation where 90 degree retracts are needed but to clear my inlet ducting I'd need them to not retract all the way. Imagine a reverse 85 degree unit. Is that possible?

Other makes offer both 90 degree or less sweep retracts. Not sure if Eflite does as well.

From all of mine, including Eflites up to the 60-120 units, I can state that it is possible to alter their sweep angle. There are microswitches built onto the control board that signal each end of the cycle. By adding a blob of glue you can tell the trunnion to stop earlier than normal. In my case, with a couple of sets of the larger Eflites I had to shave a touch off the switch buttons to allow them to go into full lock.

And that's where the problem can crop up since if the cycle stops early the trunnion will not be in full lock, either up, or in the worst case in the down position. This can allow them to come unlocked and move under loads, as well as increase wear and tear.

You might also consider bending the gear legs, or altering the gear mounts.
