Sounds like the F3J worlds in South Africa.
Sounds like you should have the Momtana practice advantage! Good Luck! Curtis |

Following your furniture building mate. Nice work Steve.
Leaving AZ today to fly back to the snow in Mt... It has been a nice break from the cold down here in the desert and got to see some amazing flying from Joe W and others... Joe had the most unbelivable save yesterday! Daryl 's Vexon is sure nice & really come to the tape so sweet. Had a great time seeing my parents. Now back to reality, and motivated to get the S7 completed. |

stevemac,
Are you actually wishing that environment for model building or for construction building? Cuz the dry cold snowy, non moldy and mildewy, non expanding wood environment is all fine and dandy till you've worked in it for a week or three, I once framed on two different houses next to a river where it was -30 faranheit for 3 weeks, NOT FUN. We had to build a 4' X 4' X 8' warming hut for our compressor to keep it running. We spent quite a lot of time in there ourselves warming up. I will admit we truly are fortunate in this part of our country to not have to deal with those issues, plus we have no termites or cockroaches here either. So I'm not sure what would be worse, warped wood all the time, or scraping and shoveling snow and Ice off the wood you need to use and the places you need to use it. Ok, I guess I'll take the cold FF |
