Agree. Maybe get the Genius V2 instead. Your spare parts will fit plus it flies a lot better, I hear.

The v922 is an ok heli

As I commented before once you get the v922 up and trimmed it is a stable bird.
Unfortunately, two quirks really bothered me
1. Binding - Gyro
It seems the gyro holds trim settings from the last crash or hard landing making it impossible to takeoff. When it gets in this mode it will nose flip, roto-till the carpet or do the fastest flight in some unpredictable direction.
To prevent the surprise, anytime the landing is not perfect, I unplug the battery and wait until I see the badges level... Sometimes that takes several tries.
2. No DR/EXP and no DR/EXP.... I started cutting wires and add resistors hoping for blind luck... Because at this point either its either DR or the trash

IMHO, with a programmable TX I could lead to love the v922

To those who wonder I like the mini CP ?..
.FYI I do not use or like the 6 axis gyro
I like the mini cp because it flies as well or better than my genius and I can power it down with a genius motor and switch back to the faster mini cup motor or go with the brush less conversion

If you guys have the time check out KKDDMM's blog, the section on V922/FBL100 and the HT8 RF module. He posted nice photos showing his work on the helicopters.

http://plaza.rakuten.co.jp/ringmaker/diary/?ctgy=35

Here are some highlights:

The X-6S transmitter seems to support rates and expo settings.

I don't understand Japanese but it seems he's trying to get HT8 working on his 9X.

I really can't understand why HiSky doesn't provide any information how make their HT8 module works.

No need to understand Japanese, KKDDMM posted in his blog. With the Ht8 module, the helicopter binds but he couldn't fly it.

From what I had read, they didn't clone the nano. They seemed to be building from scratch as they experimented with various designs. I'm not familiar with NCPX so I can't tell if the two are similar.

I believe shortly after HiSKY releases the FBL80, WLtoys as well as Turnigy will be able to release their version of the FBL80.
