Thank you, I really want to become familiar with the 3GX, I've heard a lot of good things about the newest V3 software, it will help me become a better contributor in the forums also, never hurts to learn something new...

I've got a very special build coming up after this one, more to come... Ken

Had a rough time, then had the flu, then went without a camera for a week waiting for my new CSC Camera to arrive, it will be here today, I need a couple days to get familiar with my new camera and I'll be back to shooting photos and building and writing...

Thanks for your support, Ken

Looking forward to your 3GX setup. That's a really good tip on the receiver battery and switch harness for setup. Thank you!

I will be working on the build this week, I've had a couple other projects to get ramped up for, another build thread or two...

I'm hoping to be on the radio setup towards the end of this week...

Thanks for following along.... Ken

So, I got behind in the build because of a big mistake, I upgraded my main workstation to Windows 8, there was a special price for an online upgrade, I've been due for an OS upgrade for sometime, but I have to be able to run CNC tool and vinyl cutting plotter programs, the upgrade hosed some of my most important software, so I'm rebuilding my workstation again as an XP Pro machine (all my software runs on XP)... I didn't like the Windows 8 interface at all, it's definitely made for touchscreens...

I apologize for the delay, I'll be back at it shortly, more to come...

I've heard horrible things about windows 8. XP seems like the way to go.

No, I don't like Windows 8 at all, at least not without a touch screen monitor... I found out the hard way, It's cost me over a week in down time on my main workstation, luckily I keep all my data on a separate hard drive, but rebuilding my machine, installing all the software etc still takes a couple days... It'll be done later tonight hopefully, I've been playing catch up ever since the upgrade... What I did was just pull the hard disc with windows 8 on it out of my machine, keep it for later...

Doing a fresh XP Pro install on a new drive... Getting it done, so back to it... I'll be on the 3GX setup as soon as I'm up and running again with my main workstation...

Thanks for the support and following along... Ken

I was leary of windows 8 in the beginning aswell. Now that I have it, and have gotten used to it. Its not all that bad.

There is an app you can get for it that will give you back the original desk top. which makes a world of difference.
The big problem right now is compatibility w/ software & drivers.
I just bought my laptop in December , I tried EVERYWHERE for a windows 7 machine. But couldn't find anything.

Apart from that .... sweet skills/build !
