finally finished all the construction now next job is too sand,abit of filling and get it ready for spraycoat

What's running down the middle of the sponson's? looks like door trimming..... Your 38" Xcat have this as well? I think I'm just going to build my cat according to some plan's I have but I'm going to modify as I go. This thing looks sick mate!

There the strakes these create hydro lift and also help it handle in the turns,the 38" has them exactly the same which is why it performs the way it does

Which 1 if its this 1 its not important as it wont be being used to run with its just a plug for moulding

Looks ok
this hull is 48" x 18" wide
my 38" is wider than yours and is stable and turns on rails

all depends on layup of fiberglass for the weight and will be 18" wide

i guess ill have to make a wider boat then to make it stable, can a boat be made of styrafoam and then covered with fiberglass ,

Finally managed to back on this build after ill health
All construction now finished,filling and shaping and now sealed,needs light rub down ready for patterncoat







Hope guys ok as its been awhile
