I like the term:seatbelt for the little patches of glass Tom described . One other point I would like to make and this is just a assumption on my part. Epoxy does better in cold weather than CA. Ca is darn brittle in the extreme cold. Parts such as booms are stiffer as well transferring more stress on glue joints.

In F3J size does matter!

Received my Stream's today!
I ordered two, one D-box model and one full carbon model.
The models arrived in a strong box built out of compressed cardboard and screwed on to a wooden frame, very strong and impact resistant (important when shipping through our postal service...).
The quality of my models is very high, probably the best I've seen in DLG's to date, I would say it matches the very top end F3J\F3B models in both fit and finish.
Having built moldies (F3J mostly) I know that this type of quality is very difficult to produce and require super high quality molds and a great set of hands.
The Stream team has done a beautiful job and if the models fly as good as they look I got a couple of winners!
Both my tail sets are below 12.5 grams and appear stiff and well built. I compared them to my Swindel tails and they are about the same area, the elevator is a little shorter but wider at the tip and the rudder in slightly higher in aspect ratio but feels thicker in the root (around 6% I would say compared to maybe 5% of the Swindel).
Fuselage is so slim you wouldn't believe! Not even my Temujin fuse (same as SALonit fuse) was this low in cross section. Finish of the fuselages is fantastic and the weight is low, 36.5 grams and 38 grams with the canopies. Wing to fuselage fit is also very good.
wings are painted, 124.5 for the Dbox and 132.5 for the full carbon.
I ordered covers as well and if I had second thoughts about spending money on them instead of making my own, I know now I bought them cheap! The detail on the covers is amazing, the elevator covers can connect with Velcro to the wing bags so they don’t get lost if disassembled, there is a nice 3D detail for the tip with the peg, the ruder covers have several Velcro pieces for a good fit and there are reinforcements on all the stitching. Making covers like these would take me days!

I hope to start on them tomorrow so I will try and get some more info and pics as I do the build.

Interesting.... Finnish Validol customers wants more lighter wings, them think that 124grms carbon texture wing is heavy and 118grms hard spread heavy also:-)

HI guys.

Today the Stream and I got some qualitytime together. And I bet you, weīll have more of that!

This plane launches like a rocket, and feels as stiff as a 4by4!
Launches are totally quiet and the peg makes it so easy to throw. Me likie!

The weather was ok for the season. 6°C sunny and 4-7m/s wind. Although I flew late afternoon the plane imidiatly showed signs of lift. Itīs a joy to cirkle and it climbes great.
To everyone who have bourght or is thinking about getting a new DLG, you better remind this plane as an option.
You will not be disapointed!

Gongratulations to Stream Team. You really have a winner here!

(And Iīm not on their payrol, and havenīt had any discount at all. This is just my reactions to this glider!)
