Everything you need to know about a FunBat
My build has a 110mm long fuse section in front of leading edge, a top opening for battery.
I found this works well, but mine has 1800kv motor on 3S 1300mah lipo with a 7x4 prop. Your 1300kv & 2S lipo means you might have to build light or scale down a bit, maybe to about 24" wingspan.

Hi Ben
your motor and lipo set up will need a fairly large prop to be most efficient so don't expect rocket ship performance. It will have lots of thrust. I reckon you could still build a 30" wingspan version but do extend the nose as RWData suggests as it will be easier to obtain the correct c of g. You could then upgrade later to something like this http://www.giantshark.co.uk/a282212-...-p-407774.html on a 3s pack. I'm thinking of building a 620mm version with the HK Funfighter motor and 4S pack. The again, I'm a bit of a nutter

Shameless plug from Bob
Glad the house move went well. Have you had the chance to try out your new runway and flying site?
Have a good Christmas
