Yikes is right! You need to move those wires away from the receiver - and make sure that they can"t move from vibration! Test it with the engine running for sure! That looks like a load of fun!

You must have more faith in your equipment Jim! I gave up on the range test got to 50 paces. There is no place in the fuselage for the wires to move to when the wing is on and are all at the pin end of the nano. Aerial wires don't fit across inside the fuselage so are slightly bent pushing against the sides of the fuselage.
Went just fine and fast today.
NANOS are cool and I have faith in them hahaha

I do have faith in our products. I just know how the public can be for instalations!

During the Nano development I did everything from twisting the antenna wires to cutting them at different lengths to determine the differences in range. They work quite amazing considering they were just intended for small indoor foamies. Who knew that they would have 25% better range than our original 8 and 10 channel receivers. The RFU has even better range than the Nanos, but that is to be expected because it has true antenna diversity and an amplifier.

Absolutely Jim., I was just joking LOL. I really love your products. The RFUs, x10s etc work just great. When 2.4 started coming Into the market there were so many crashes I saw it really put me off 2.4.
So I just carried on using my old JR 35MHZ equipment. I then discovered your equipment and bought a 10 channel rx and JR tx module. I put it into a H9 ultra stick 60 I had. I flew that stick as high and as far and low as I could see to test it. I could not get it to go out of range. That rx eventually was In a Midwest Extra with a ZDZ 40 cc and also never had any problems. Your equipment really has improved my flying experience. Used to use pcm and had many fail safe events. I still use 35mhz but only on some of my slope gliders where we fly near cell phone towers.
Have a great week.

The mounting is fine. A range test of course will tell you everything.

The RFU is the absolute LEAST complex setup. Just the RFU (set to output SBUS protocol) connected to the flight controller through a single servo cable. Can't be any less complex than that!

Here is my South African Impala slopie with a nano. We got some North Westerly wind coming through tomorrow. Good to fly on Signal Hill adjacent to Table mountain. Lift should be awesome.
