sended a email to feiyu tech

hello feiyu-tech support
thanks for the multirotors firmware for the fy-dos great will try it soon

but the firmware for the fixed wing needs also some attention
there has to come a safety function for the RTH mode altitude
what I liked about my fy-21 was the minimum alt hold from 50 meters
now my fy-dos is coming back on the altitude where I am flying at and that can be 5 meters or lower
thatís not safe at all (houses trees etc etc)

can you make this (like I also can for the min max speed)
many thanks itís a great product

(even the crappy storm osd you can set the RTH altitude so donít tell me your dos cantít)
best regards

I hope they will make it happen

Thank you for your support. For you suggest: (1)"what I liked about my fy-21 was the minimum alt hold from 50 meters" Because some customer do not want this function.

(2)can you make this (like I also can for the min max speed) many thanks itís a great product

We are working on that, after we use airspeed sensor.

(3)(even the crappy storm osd you can set the RTH altitude so donít tell me your dos cantít) We are also working on that for our new product.

Best regards! Feiyu Team

Not a promising answer for me.....
If I knew this before would have never buying the DOS

well,

I think that the fact of this device work for both planes and multicopters will have some programming limitation.

I also think that is a hugeeee fault the RTH mode donīt have a minimum altitude, and if they like to have a product with a lot of aplications, they might think on safety first.

On mine 21AP i use the RTH to launch the plane because it climb arround till it reach to 50m. Itīs a plane saver in long range FPV flights.

Well, lets protest against this lack of security

Yes they told me its not there cause customers want it this way
But if the customers take contact and do asking the same question as I did
Maybe they will consider to change it

I'm having troubles with my FY-Dos first plate form, which I thought was the perfect, FMS fox glider did not work well at all. I've installed in a skysurfer now. better success, but RTH still does not work. what does it mean when the tail wags constantly while in RTH mode? The tails wags and goes in another direction other than home. my emails to feiyu tech has been unsuccessful.

Can you tell your settings?

Let me hook it up to the computer to see. I don't have anything out of the ordinary. I believe gain for pitch and roll is 80 and 75 respectively. (same setting as on the fox, couldn't get it to,fly level) it flies level and smooth in stabilization. DOS is,facing forward.nothing is reversed.Link is rc. mix is navigation with rudder.

My exact settings:
Hitec aurora 9 radio
Optima 7 receiver
ail gain-80 (could probably go back to 50)
ele gain- 75 (could probably go back to 50)
thr gain-50
rud gain-50
link mode-normal(rud)navigation
ele-reversed
circle radius-79m
cruising speed-61km/h
max distance 4000m
all functions checks out prior to take off

GPS, receiver and switching bec all separated. Gps on top on fuse, receiver outside the fuse under the wing, BEC inside the fuse.

Does it waggle up down or side ways?
Start with stock gains at 50 and mix at normal.... if you have mix on nav rudder rudder needs to be connected to channel 1

Maybe your rudder is reversed
(Not easy to check so easy the wrong way)

You have the gains to hi. Try 60 on elevantor and ailerons.
Your plane is?
Fast response planes need low gains, and before takeoff make sure that all surfaces move in the correct direction in stabilisation mode
