I liked Cermark selling out of the back of their U-Haul trailer in the wind on Saturday and saying they felt like mobsters selling brown boxes. I checked and no bricks in my box. Mike

I did the same thing Saturday, sold stuff out of my car. Some guys that were there Thur and Fri had come back on Sat to buy.

And oddly enough, I just went out to start the car, and the wind is howling like it was that day. Good, we're getting the big January blow out of the way early this year.

Bummed out that I can't make it this year. I hope you all have a great time and less wind than last year!

btw... we got really lucky too, our canopies were some of the few that didn't get destroyed as well. we removed the covers and left the skeletons lowered down for the night and we were spared. I did see that others did the same but were not all so lucky as other flying canopies landed on their bare frames and destroyed them.

Well anyways, hopefully I'll see you all next year!

Dave,

Sorry you won't be at the event this year (missed you at Big Jolt too!). Will you be at the AMA Convention this weekend? I will be in Booth 405.

Is there a layout for the vendor area yet?

I will arrive early Fri morning (before sunup) and would like to know where to put the stuff.

I will place markers on the ground Thursday morning marking vendor locations.
Due to your having a 12' long trailer I plan to put you on the far south side so you can work out of your trailer.

Charlie,

The vendor area is pretty much a "U" shaped area, running from the end of the bleachers on the west side dow and around in front of the parking area. The vendor guys have actually done a good job this year marking things out, and even reorganizing the spacing a little to help give us Vendors a bit more room to work with.

When you get there Friday morning, just ask for Rick Distler. He'll point you in the right direction.

Pat,

I understand that part. I just wanted to be able to park the trailer when I get there before sunrise on Fri

So, I'll probably just unload a couple of planes and fly until the festivities start.

Charlie,

I'm sure some brave (or maybe foolish?) souls will be there before sunrise on Friday. Heck, I may be one of them!

We'll make sure you get where you need to go when you arrive.
