I believe I may have put too much wing dihedral on the mustang. It's a 17 1/4" wing-span. I did a search for negative effects of too much and didn't find anything. Comments?

In theory, you lose some lift. Also, may need more rudder or thrustline offset to get it to turn. Putting the center of lift over the thrustline would make your Mustang a high-winger! Take away your FAC bonus points?

The dummy bulkheads indicated with paper. I'm going to buy a replacement canopy from Guillow's and do it right.

The insignia and the cockpit prepared for a *clear* plastic canopy.

The finished Warhawk. I decided not to use the olive green camouflage but wish I had. Also didn't buy a new canopy and I wish I had.

I think you have done an excellent job. Back when this series first came out, several of us in the dorm built these kits stock. I did the Spitfire and ME 109. One of my dorm mates did the Warhawk, and it consistently outflew us all. Yours looks like it has great potential. Looking forward to flight shots or video.

Balsa Flies Better!
Hi Kev

That looks great! I wish the Parrot markings went into combat and I'd known that Callie had done them sooner...I'd have kicked them around for my smaller airplane. One caution though- I'd be a bit worried you've got a lot of prop on there. P-40s don't have a lot of tail moment and its often easier to trim an airplane with a somewhat smaller prop. I'd probably drop to an 8" as a guess- assuming you've got a 9" on there.

Yeah, Sam, it's a 9 1/2" prop, thanks for the advice.
