Does that mean that anyone who invokes Obama automatically loses THEIR side of the argument?

Presented with the obvious connection to the purpose of this thread, I present you; Greece.

Quote:
ATHENS, Greece (AP) Greeks earning more than 42,000 ($55,000) per year will now be taxed at a new top rate of 42 percent, under a major new tax reform bill submitted to the country's parliament late Thursday.
The same people who thought that they were voting for Obama to only raise taxes on the rich should take heed and see what's in store for their own greedy little pathetic lives. What a wonderful and deserved future they have in store for themselves.

They tried to leave, and were denied that choice by a far-right authoritarian government. US citizens still have a choice to expatriate.

Mr. Obama certainly doesn't set the proper example on that issue. He breaks the law all the time with impunity.

LOL, the farthest right socialism is able to get!

And the big selling point of your own 'tolerance' is that, for now, you'll still let people flee their homes if they dislike what you want imposed.

Illegals do break Federal law with impunity all the time. And plenty of people, perhaps even yourself, want them to be able to escape the statute penalties they knew they faced for doing so.

It's OK for them to violate law with impunity. It should be OK for the rest of us, too..

No, it's not OK for anyone to break the law, and when caught they should be dealt with accordingly.

By Prosecution imposing the penalties for these Federal violations according to the law's full extent at the time of violation?

That's not what you said. You said that "Consent is implied through citizenship".
Big difference, and one that profoundly illustrates hypocrisy now that you've tweaked your new definition.

Ask the ones GWB and Reagan gave amnesty to. I wouldn't know.

No, you're strawman-ing a false equivalence between the authoritarian right-wing government of Nazi Germany and the USA. US Citizens have the right to expatriate. German Jews did not. Perhaps you should go back and re-read the conversation so that you'll understand the context.
