Chrome Vinyl Wrap

Not really the right place to post but has anybody tried or thought about this type of product or like it on your airplanes/jets.

The chrome would be sick and probably be a lot easier to apply then flight metal or any type like it, just dont know about doing individual panels.

What do you think??? Lets hear your 2cents.

Order a small sample first. I spoke with someone who had some and they were disappointed saying the quality wasn't up for our models, and the thickness was greater than FM making it difficult to work with. Suggest getting a sample before putting out the investment.

They did state on the website that they were going to make different thicknesses. That looks very interesting and could have a lot of potential. Johnny Hernandez vinyl rapped his Ultra Bandit before he died, and it still looks great.

I was doing a search for model makers wax and one of the listings had something similar that was used by auto design stylists to cover what would on the full scale be the chrome parts of the wax models.
