Nice work Mark - make another three and you could do an Avro Shackleton .

Okay, maybe a little slow for you...

Remember Keith's Bugatti. An amazing model.

Blame that on Thom Richard! Wait till you see what the team is doing for 2013...

I wonder how this one will look with all the panel lines and rivets on her?

That is a gorgeous model but I DO NOT envy the pilot flying maiden flight. Good luck!

Maiden pilot will be me. Just go and throw! Shes got to fly at some point, otherwise why bother? I try not to get too attached to a model, but I do enjoy some more than others.

Yes, belly lander. I'm not too concerned about the scoop, I glassed it before covering it. If it gets a little beat, so be it, thats part of flying.
No, she's not begging for retracts I fly from a grass school yard. I have tried them on models this size, and they are not worth the weight, complexity or hassle. My Osprey GP5 is about the same size, and even if the wind is just right for taking off the small paved parking lot, I have to belly land in the grass as the gear just flips it over and causes damage. So, retracts are a waste of time on the PM.
If it were larger, or I had a paved area, that might be different, but I see no reason to make it heavier just to take off.
