ok so have done some seareching for electrics! ill link everything i have found. ok so boat will be made from balsa either 1.5mm or 3.00mm? dont really want to have to buy epoxy/fibreglass so can i not varnish or some waterproof paint instead? then i found 2 servos as ye will c will the lighter one be too weak?what ye thing of motor only problem i see is that its not in stock ye know of anything around the same? amm still looking for prop n driveshaft if ye would have any ideas? ye might have a quick look at everything else to make sure it all works together? please and thanks, jack!

1.5mm balsa probably will be fine with just some hard varnish. the lighter servo one might be to small but I know that I've seen some small boats with ones like that those. might get some ideas for the motor and servos from here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1694339

prop is to big I think for that high rpm motor. gotta ask somebody with more experience about that though. stick with the old battery because it's lighter.

Also another point.. i printed out plans there but how come all the (support things, the go in middle of boat theres about 6 of them) they are in halfs? i dont really know how to explain but if you look you might understand me! tks

you could just get the motor, servo, and battery for a v911 heli and use those to power it.

it's so that it's easier to draw; trace it out one way, then flip it over. the spot that looks like it's supposed to be a cut is the center line of the piece. essentially it is half of the piece. hope that helps
