corona sub-rotor weights

Anyone try removing the big allen screws, on the ends of the sub-rotors?

How much difference does it make to roll rate?

How much does it hurt stability, or hovering?

I run mine without the weights. I just put a couple short 4-40 screws into the flybar wire holes to hold the wire in. I have noticed a greater willingness for the heli to bank hard, probably due to the less gyroscopic tendency of the subrotor. I have noticed that it hovers about the same. I prefer the flight characteristics without the weights. Plus, you save over 1/2 an ounce without them!

Nope, I am an early riser! Of course, I am also in Illinois. It is 7:30 here.

Oh, that tips and tricks page mentions the flybar weights. I know, I wrote it!
