I know Bart10 didnt intend for his Design to be done this way .
But , I hope he likes it ! I am nearly ready to start cutting .

Yes i am very fortunate to be able to use my cnc machine to cut these models out
We will see what the model looks like in person very soon !

If you guys see anything i need to change before i start "PLEASE LET ME KNOW"
as quickly as possible ...

Thank you !

Looks Amazing !

One small question/remark : The cockpit is drawed on your plan, Won't the machine follow that line and just cut the cockpit from the fuselage ?

You are seeing what i wanted you to see . The drawing looks better to the eye when you see the cockpit drawn on the plan .

The cockpit will be cut solid then painted . It will be fine , trust me !

Great ! Same applies to the wings separated or not from the horizontal fuselage.

Looking forward to your results

Don't forget to leave some foam to attach the horns to the ailerons.
Think how you want to strengthen the elevator halves - you might want to leave some foam there as well.
The Rudder - place for the horn might need to be a bit higher so it will not be in the way of the Elevator at any point.
Good luck - get those parts cut and show us some pictures

Very good catch there mammuth on the ailerons and the rudder horn foam ! THANK YOU
I will make the required changes ..........

Elevator will have a flat carbon joiner so that's not an issue .

Thanks again for your input .

I think that You can cut it in this way. (I delete some triangulars because You will have to cut places for canalizers).
Don't forget about motor's slope.
I think that You and me are Eon's designers. Not only me or You so I think that this is joint project. After maiden flight I would like to share plans with my and Your name.

Why so much side and down thrust

Because now I'm having an Extra 300 and this model has got similar down thurst but maybe I exaggerated.

We have fully symetrical wings and your motor is on the centre line of wings and tailplane so zero downthrust should be required at this stage of the design

I like the design, but I think that you could mill a little bit more without strength problems.

Fly lower!

I agree with andycap. I wouldn't use any downthrust or right angle on the motor. These planes are designed to fly neutral, and should do well with "0" thrust angle.

Minor trim can be done with the radio, and battery placement.

I agree - 0-0 degree thrust on all axis ..........

I just ran a test cut "NO FOAM IN THE MACHINE" to make sure all ran good with no glitches ((didnt want to wast foam if i had something wrong)) .......All is good !

I will put foam in my machine tomorrow after work and cut the Plane !

Thanks for everyone's input !

Still a ways to go so wish me luck

I must admit though , this first one will be a bit smaller than it was designed for ......
