Can the ICS-400 ESC handle 4 servos?

I recently setup my GWS Corsair with 3 servos on elevator, aileron and retracts. I want to add rudder for better ground handling but I am unsure if the ICS-400 ESC can handle the 4 servos.
Will it be able to handle it or will I damage the speed controller if I try?

thanks

Why would adding a servo damage a SPEED controler????

know it all
The BEC could overheat, shutdown and then crash. It depends on how many cells you fly with, and how much current your servos draw.

Make sure none of your control surfaces bind AT ALL, blow lots of cooling air on the esc and test it by running the motor for a few minutes (2-4 minutes) with the throttle at 50% while moving all the controls continuosly.. if it does not shutdown on the ground it should be ok in the air.

The most important thing is keep your linkage run freely without too much friction.

Do not use too many DIGITAL sub-micro or GWS HP, HPX servos in the same system! That will takes too much current for the holding torque.

I use 6 cell NICD (7.2V) or 2 cell Lithiums (8.4v) and the servos are micro 9 gram servos. All the servos move freely and there is no binding that I am aware of.

GWS CEO, can I add a fourth servo? If not on the ICS-400, which gws ESC can handle 4 servos?

I know there are other brands that can handle 4 servos but I like GWS electronics.

We are designing new ESC for 3D flyers who need to use more fast servos that comsum more current. This new ESC will come with 3+ Amps BEC.

While at this moment, ESC only 1~1.2 Amps current rating of BEC! Better not to try with 4th servo. Although they may not use 4 servos all the time, but, if....
