Hi Russia,

I have the same motors as you and they look great. One thing I did was heat shrink the wires where they enter the arms to add some protection against abrasion from the Ali clamp or carbon tube. I will monitor the heat shrink to see if it lasts and if not, replace with spiral wrap.
It's just a suggestion, but you may want to think about adding some protection to your wires also as you don't want to rub through the silicone and create a short on the carbon tube or break the wire all together.
Your call, but I hope this helps.

2845 gave 7 mins 20 ( 440 seconds ) so 6.5ma per second
1155 left means an additional 2mins 57 seconds ( 177 seconds )

So in theory 10 mins 17seconds flight time leaving 20% of a 5000mah 4S
Thanks a lot, sounds good

Hi fellow FY680 pilots

I just had a not so successful maiden flight with mine

The first without the compass calibrated
FY680 hexa copter with Naza controller - strange crash on maiden flight (1 min 7 sec)

After compass calibration
FY680 hexa copter with Naza controller - strange crash on maiden flight after compas calibration (0 min 56 sec)

B.t.w. - has anyone found a solution to the very flimsy/fragile landing "legs"?

They break very, very easy, and it does not take a rocket scientist to see that they are build/designed WAY to fragile.

Says both video`s do not exist.

I thought the same about the landing gear, but after getting carried away and clipping a fence and having too "crashes" my landing gear survived both events without damage

At the T where the aluminum and the thin carbon with the screw in I replace mine with carbon problem solve but it suck the they didn't make it thicker but rather a thin one the lading post also very thin. That arm post is good

Hi everyone, I was planning on upgrading to the tarot and i was wondering if anyone has used Tacon motors.

Would these work or would it be really shaky for video because it is a 5 pole?

If they would work, what size esc would you recommend?

Heavy motor @ 170g... 6 motors alone would be > 1 kg.. I would not go for this on FY680
Max current should be somewhere <55A... Maybe 60A-70A ESC would do.
Any idea on its thrust?

ESC is base on the motor dont go to way over the motor and then it beccome a switcher instead a controller
