What flight time you get with your setup?

Thanks!
Finally a break in the weather meant I could get a decent flight in.

The values were :

Total flight time before auto land : 7:20
On landing 37% of lipo still remained
Charger put 2845ma back in leaving 1155ma available

2845 gave 7 mins 20 ( 440 seconds ) so 6.5ma per second
1155 left means an additional 2mins 57 seconds ( 177 seconds )

So in theory 10 mins 17seconds flight time leaving 20% of a 5000mah 4S

What were you "auto landing settings" on your controller?

And what is your total weight on your rig upon lift of?

Just got all my gear for this thing from RCTimer, shipping took 3 days to Canada. My mind was blown at the speed. Anyone else running APM on this frame?

Are you serious. Even I paid for FedEx express it took a week. With the regular free shipping it took almost 4 weeks damn that faster than state to state here

I couldn't get my gimbal to work initially, either, using the aiop. You probably did not fall for the same dumb mistake as me, but:

I enabled the gimbal in config.h but failed to realize it then had to be turned ON in multiwii wingui or multiwii conf, whichever you are using. You can have it come on using an aux switch or just set it to be on all the time (as I did).

Great built! I would love to see the video when you fly it.

How did you remove the aluminum finish to replace the landing arms with longer ones? I believe they are glued and I wonder how to remove it without breaking anything.

The original landing gear is obviously too short and I noticed that it is exactely half of the arms. That explains the size: not by design, but for penny savings. But now many of us have to replace it...

Cheers,

you got to break it because it thiner than the arm. that post is really crap anyway. yes it is glued the original landing gear post is 2/3 the arm so one arm can not cut into 2 land gear.

year with this fy680 i end up replace so many things it look good but really bad. folding i end up not folding because for the clamp

so are you screwing the gimbal directly to the frame?

No. One side has a velcro strap and the other is held with electrical tape. To scew it on you would have to isolate the bolt from the frame with some more gel or the vibes will go straight to the camera. The velcro and tape carry some vibes but not too much.

Cheers,
Andy

Sorry, I thought you were asking about the camera. The gimbal has a foam sheet between the copter frame and the gimbal and is held in place with a couple thin zip ties (zap straps in Canada...eh)
