Ok we believe you, I saw your printed letter from Tarot on your facebook page.
But you don't answer to my question.
Will Tarot effectively replace the clips to all frame already sold ?
Cause for the moment Good Luck Buy is denying it, so we don't know what to do.

Hi everyone. I'm a complete newbie on copter flying and i would like to ask your opinion on this.
The purpose of the copter is only aerial filming and I'm currently searching for the best "bang for the buck".
I've read some pages of this topic and i do see quite some problems with this particular copter (clamps, fake carbon frame) but also seen some sucess using it.
I've also been reading about ardupilot and it looks like a good option, some easy to use features would be helpful for me.
I'd like to transport a small dslr camera, what do you think about this?

with this tx/rx
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=230919505293

Still looking for a camera gimbal and servos.
Is there some clamps i could buy instead of the supplied ones? I don't really need it to be foldable.
I'm i missing some other great setups for the same price? I've seen DJI Phantom, but will have to use a gopro and it's unstable.

Sorry for such a huge newbie question, everyone has to start somewhere and I'm looking forward to make a good purchase on the first time.

Alternative?

Thanks

So you also broke them during frame installation?
No my clip Is not all broke during installation. Someone mention that the pressure of the top and bottom board cause it to brake. I said if there no two board it will break easier. Because the plastic is too fragile. My clip broke on the first folded.

I email and also mention it here in the thread but didn't see a list. Where can I find the list to see if my name is in it?

Where do you guys place your Naza controller?

Can you find room on the center plate if lowered all the way down to the bottom frame?

is there any way to get a longer boom to this frame?

i would like to use this frame on my Heavylift frame. but i need a frame that can use 16" prop. i think extending it arms will do the job. curious, what is the FY680 boom size?

i just checked . this frame use 16mm boom size. if im not mistaken it's the size of trex 500 booms

Thinking of getting the FY650 - which I think is almost identical to the FY680 sans 2 booms.

With that said, will this gimbal fit it?

It will if you fit 2x http://www.infinity-hobby.com/main/p...oducts_id=9198 to it, but its basically the same as what I`m using, and results are not great

I tried searching through your posts but can't see why you don't think the results are great. Can you elaborate?

I thought it's mainly in the FC handling of pitch/roll for gimbals where you get good results. The gimbal itself as long as it has pitch/roll, then it's really up to the FC right? Sorry I'm pretty new to this, just what I figured anyways. But probably way off base?

Thanks.

Hiya,

Ive only flown with it a few times but the gimbal is thin and promotes vibrations. Mine is not 100% the same, but near enough. It`s to be expected though really, that`s why the good gimbals cost the big bucks

My Naza control mine, which is not the best gimbal controller, but it does work, the frame of the gimbal though is the weak point IMO. The controller keeps it level, but that`s only half the battle, any vibrations going through the gimbal has so far trashed my footage. I`m going to modify mine a bit and see if I can get rid of the flex / vibrations and will report any progress
