Is there such thing as too cold?

Will the Aiptek camera work okay during winter flying? I was not sure if the cold conditions impact its ability to capture pictures. I've seen lots of pics in this forum of winter so I'm guessing it will work just fine. Are people letting the camera warm up indoors before connecting to the pc for uploading pics?

Just curious.

Cold weather A.P.

Looking back over my posts the coldest flying with my Aiptek seems to have been about 15 deg. F.
With my HP 120 it looks like 3 deg. F. both cameras performed without a hitch, more than I can say about my fingers.
Links to the threads if you are interested.
I do let the camera warm up for a while before downloading them though.

I always try to let my electronics adjust to the environment
before using them, i.e. before using them in the cold, let them
adjust to the cold, before uploading to the PC, let it warm up.
This avoids potential for condensation or differential temperatures
in the camera causing problems.

Batteries, on the other hand, I keep in inside pockets of my coat
so they keep warm before flying.
