good work.
It can take a good flogging because it's so light. Ive crashed mine 30 times while learning to flip and never even changed the blades from the stock ones

Sounds about right. I just got caught in the jet stream from the AC vent. Blew across the room, into the window, off the side of the TV, narrowly missed a couple planes on the floor. Totally fine.

Howdy:

Is this merely similar to (electronics & guts-wise) the The Hubsan X4 H107 / Traxxas QR-1 or identical to them? Those two are the same critter. AUW is the same fo rall, 1.1oz.

I was hesitating buying any of these buggers because I wanted to use my own Spekrum DX6i Tx, but the Anylink doo-hickey/parasite Tx makes it much more interesting and puts the Heli-Max at the front of hte pack.

It's larger than the Traxxas by a bit. Doesn't appear to be the same as the Hubsan, through I haven't seen one in person.

Hi Guys. I have been flying for years, but never a helicopter. Need help setting up my Futaba 6EXP for the 1SQ. I guess I need to help with swashplate and gyro.
Thanks Henry

This thing is pretty amazing for the price and its size. I recommend flying it over grass because it is practically impossible to break there. My controller board malfunctioned shortly after I purchased mine but Heli-Max replaced it free of charge; great customer service!

What flight times did you get with this? Is the battery 'custom' or is it easily replaced with after market batteries?

battery in the review was the stock pack. Flight times are average, around 6 to 7 minutes.

I just picked up one at SEFF this past weekend. What a BLAST!!! I'm so hooked now I'm ready to get a bigger quad!!

Absolutely another one of those "bang for the buck" items.

My friend just bought this thing and it wont even fly it just flips the second you give it any power. Some times when it does get into the air (10% of the time) It will fly alittle and then just flip randomly. Hes using the Transmitter that came in the RTF package i hope its just a simple setting error. I own a v939 (a clone) and flys great and im very surpised this thing being a heli-max and costing 100$ wont even get into the air

Sounds like gyro gain, Have you adjusted it down to tame it?

Hi I have the any link hooked up to my DX7 and it will not bind with my 1SQ. I had in at first for about 2 minuts and then no more. I did every thing like I did before but will not bind.

Fun to fly, but...

Just got the 1SQ V-cam for Christmas. For less than $100 you get a lot. I cracked the canopy on my first flight, but who cares about that? I removed the canopy and discovered that the antenna was barely attached by two strands and fell off when I was examining it. I resoldered it and put a dab of epoxy on top. Today a minor crash on grass shattered the left front boom. I'm waiting for more epoxy to dry now. I think all of these issues were flukes. I'm wondering if longer booms would increase stability?
