I would put this setup into it, assuming you can fit it, and like to go fast... This is more of a .30 size setup.

ESC: Turnigy AE-65A (or any other 50+ amp esc)

Battery:
ZIPPY Compact 4000mAh 4S 25C Lipo

Few pictures from our second 1/12 scale ACES competition that had 11 participants. Got through an entire competition (5 flights + final) with my older FMS mini Bf-109 combat mod and even managed to cut one streamer.

My collection of WWII aircombat planes

Here are my WWII aircombat planes. All are constructed by my own:

Henschel HS129, Daniel Lux won the european championship with this plane, i won 1 WWII contest and a second place in Vreden 2016, Daniel was third...

FVVS J22, my best single engine 2,5ccm fighter, i prefere the HS129

P63 Kingcobra, a bit too large for a 2,5ccm plane

Westland Whirlwind, tricky to start due to the high elevator and the low engines, but very fast and nice....

Typhoon still alive !

Hello,
My typhoon after the Normandy Aircombat contest ! The propeller of the opponent was 9x4.... I could finish the fight anyway . Thanks to Timo, the designer of the model.

Awesome looking model, especially with that battle damage.

Thanks Recce !
I must admit that the end of the flight was a bit difficult but I managed to land her smoothly.
Now I am building a new wing for this wonderful model.

Few pictures from our third 1/12 scale ACES competition of year 2018 that had 12 participants. I was just spectating but now my fingers are itching for some combat action again. Some other models in the pictures as well. There was a lot more carnage than seen in that one picture.

As shown it is built from 25lbs Dow foam, spans 56", is powered with two OS LA .15 CL engines fed by a single latex bladder tank, weight is 3 lbs 15 ounces, the fuse is covered with .75 ounce glass cloth and the wings are covered with polyester dress lining, the painted finish is exterior latex.

Is that based on a Petlyakov PE-2 by any chance?
