I have been cutting the Mig 3 out of foam, they look and fly great. (SSC Warbirds)

Do thy still offer this P-39 in SSC ?

Did anyone notice that I put the P-39 horizontal stab and elevator on the 109?

When SSC was young we flew mostly warbirds. They flew great but were hard to get to minimum weight.

I'd like to see how the Mig 3 in foam comes out. You need to post one up here for us to see. Please.
I'd like to try a foam wing for my coro Mig. I just haven't done any foam work.....yet.

This is my version of the Mig 3. I got it photo of it and made to size patterns the blue wing is Battle Axe the white and green wing is Lethal weapon.
The green and white flies hands free, but she will turn on a dime. I like the foam, I would take it over the coro.
I will have to see how she holds up in combat.....

A new Class?
There is talk of a new class called the GNAT class in RCCA and they look like this.

Below is a link for plans to build the Gnat. I've been thinking about building one. I've been flying a Hell on Rails that I like very much.

http://spadtothebone.net/freeplans.htm

Note: I guess the link just takes you to the Spad to the Bone Main Page. To get to the GNAT plans, click on the "Spad on Rails" header and choose GNAT from the drop down menu.

With a 408 wing area it fits the SSC class. What would make it a new class?
Gnats only?

Well i flew it over the weekend and it kept up with SSC Battle Axe's and Fence posts and
I was even getting cuts. I had a mid-air and the Gnat kept going but the other plane did not.

The simplicity is attractive. The report is good!

Just may be what this overcommitment old needs to start building again.
