My DAM progress for yesterday and today. New battery installed, new FrSky receiver installed, foam plug hatches secured and spackled/sanded. New subtrailing edge on the vertical, sanded the cockpit floor to line up with the canopy bottom rails, ran extensions for wing servos, got wing bolt in. Bench fly time!

Tow piece wing. ??

Tom
You are really doing some nice work. Your plane is looking AWESOME!!

Ian
I am going to follow the plan and make it a one piece removable wing. I think this will give me access to the wiring.and make it easier to transport if the Van doesn't go.
I don't know about a two piece wing. I would have to change the design and I want to stay with the it is.

Thanks guys! My DAM109 is almost ready for taping. I'm tired of looking at that old contact cement!
Rubio, I think the removable one piece wing is the way to go.
Thanks for your motivation!

Hello Slopers
This wasn't part of the scheme.
The plane needs some thing to distinguish the top from the bottom.
Tom suggested Invasion stripes.
I really dig them.
Thanks Tom!!
She is comin together!!!
I have masked her of a lot but its payin off.

Thanks Jim! I'm just doing a rehab, Rubio has been starting all of his kits from the beginning. He'll probably have all of his done before I finish.

i wonder if a clean beginning is better than a big rehab

its like peeling an onion, the more layers you peel the

time to bring it back.i dont want to go down to foam.

this plane has some history from little mountain.since

i dont want to remove "her" i will do a partial rebuild.

leave some patina and all.its easier when you're not a perfectionist.

but it is old.............
