Thought I would only do some taxi runs today, but the conditions were really good and I decided to take her up.

Wow!!!
Really a nice flyer. I did not fly very long to just check out the handling and also get some approaches sorted.
Took off with 20% flaps and had no issues at all.
With the landing I took full flaps but I am sure that I can come in a lot slower as she was very steady and no inclination of dropping a wing.

I am really impressed with the Hawk.

I will try another flight over the weekend and explore the flight characteristics some more.

Thank you for the comments guys, I think this frame has a lot of potential. I have not opened her up yet but I think she will be pretty fast.

Another flight with the Hawk. I was really suprised at how slow it can actually fly. She is rock solid in flight and steady on slow speed. You can see on the landing how slow it was actually going. I had a cross wind which pushed me off the runway slightly. I think that because she is longer than some of the other Hawks , she has a bigger longer moment for CG.
