Thrust Angle and Plane Elevation

I have got an RC plane and when I try to elevate it upwards, it just elevates up (nose up first) momentarily and then falls downwards with nose down. Basically makes a shape going up similar to english letter "W"

Do I have to adjust the upward/downwad motor thrust to make it go up smoothly when I elevate it upwards ?

Or do I have to adjust the elevators in some way ?

Thank you
