Looks like I will go with 3 ESCs. Would rather KNOW that things are covered instead of ASSUMING that it will be. Weight issue ,I believe, will be controlled by only using 6mm foam on necessary areas. 3 mm in all others. Plane will be WS=24" Fuse Length=30" .

Here's the general idea. F22 intakes w/F15 wing.(always liked the shape) Flying Horz Stabs and Twin Verts. F15 nose section(I dont like the angles on 22.)Extra air-scoop at nose is for elecs and is drawn by third EDF .... 3rd Also draws from behind canopy. Each unit has own inlet and exhaust. Pic of cardboard mock-up. (helps w/ducting and measurments)...NOT accurate yet.

Space1..No . But the exhaust may . The intake is partially exposed through top of wing(drawing through scoops behind canopy) and lower part draws through batt compartment. The scoop on front assists the intake. The exhaust will either travel back bifurcated horiontally by the wing ,OR...will exit above wing only. See drawings.

The batt compartment and 3rd unit can be built as 1 enclosed section that can sit down between the other 2 in a "V" formation. Should allow for 3rd to be nestled nicely without impedeing the other 2 intakes. Dammn nice Space1...wish I had cad. I've got #2 pencil and pink erasers.
