Help with Setup-Newbie

I'm trying to get flying but not having much luck. I'm trying to get the 4 Channel Transmitter , receiver,ESC,servos to work with no luck.
I've boght from hobby king-no luck
and HeadsupRC -no luck- HOWEVER these guys are great and trying to help.
But nothing so far
Just though someone on the form might have the answer.
any help is appriciated
I turn on transmitter.
The esc goes through all but the last of its beeps.
It is suppose to beep 3 times then after 2 seconds beep twice then a long beep and it should be ready to go.
But after the 3 beeps it just goes beep,1 sec,beep,1 sec,beep,1 sec, beep, it just keeps doing this. Any suggestions HOW it setup this system

My first question is have you bound the Receiver? If not follow the directions that came with the radio to bind the Tx and Rx. If you have bound them, can move control surfaces and but no throttle then I would say look at the throttle input. When powering on the Rx make sure the throttle lever is all the way down and the trim on the throttle is all the way down.
Let us know of the results after trouble shooting.

Could you link to the transmitter and receiver so we know what equipment you're asking about?

bind transmitter to receiver by the book make sure you go thru the whole thing. once you have done this, turn on transmitter, plug battery in plane (turn switch on if you have one) when the esc beeps it first set of beeps, go full throttle on the transmitter, then back to no throttle.

sometimes the esc needs to see the endpoints of your throttle to arm up. it usually only needs this done the first time. once it recognizes it your good to go. my flysky transmitter needed this.

I agree with hoghead 5150. If that doesn't work my guess is you have to reverse your throttle.

I sent everything back to Heads Up RC. They have received my package and sent me an email to let me know they didn't get to check everything out yet but received it. I did purchase a RTF Lite Hawk from them the same day I sent my return. I had a maiden flight Fri Nov. 29th. WHAT A THRILL to get up and flying!!! I know how the Wright Bros. felt!!! All went well with the Lite Hawk and Yes I did have some so so landings but I got 6 fights in and it was GREAT! I can't wait to get my stuff back and put it in the planes I built. Thanks for all the HELP! The info you guys provided was very usefull!!! And HEAD UP RC are SUPER on customer support! So support them! Thanks-marair23
