Will Fatshark Dominators work with any cam?

I have this board cam http://www.securitycamera2000.com/pr...-Menu-DNR.html
And the turnigy 9x with Frksy 2.4 djt upgrade. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Firmware_.html
And the Bevrc 1.3ghz 800mw video tx/rx - http://www.bevrc.com/bev-13g-800mw_p52.html
I read somewhere after buying this, that the fatsharks only work with immersion video rx/tx equipment. I bought the made-in-china kind..

I'd like some fpv goggles instead of my 10" lcd screen - my question is. Will the fatshark dominator work with my setup? and will I be able to do head tracking with the TX I bought? If there's a different goggles setup you recommend, feel free to share.

Yes they will work.
The Dominators come with either a 2.4 or 5.8 vrx built into the goggles so you would need to have a cable from the video out of your 1.2 vtx that plugs into the inbuilt vrx and switch the vrx to "video in".

You could get a 5.8 or 2.4 vtx and set up a relay.
1.2 vtx on plane 1.2 vrx on ground, then video out from 1.2video vrx to video in on the 5.8 or 2.4 vtx which will send the video signal into the goggles.

The relay would enable you to have a wireless connection to your ground station when using the 1.2.

If not using the relay set up and flying on 1.2 then you would be tethered to the ground station as i was with the goggles on and the passenger lcd screen set up.

The FOV doesn't have to match, does it? FOV is a stat listed on goggle specs, does it matter what the FOV of the cam is?

The FOV is short for "Field of vision". And is the angle from the edges of the screen in your googles to the center of your eyes. The wider FOV will give a "bigger" screen (closer to your eyes). But you will see imperfects better as well.
The Dominators have a quite narrow FOV of 30 degrees. But a very clear picture. I have these myself and like them a lot.

It does not matter what FOV the googles have. They will work with any analog video signal.

Those specs are of the FOV of the goggles screen.
Take the predator goggles with a 25* fov, kind of like watching a small screen tv across the room, more empty space around the screen.
The larger fov is like watching a large screen tv,you can see it better.
my goggles are the Aviator version with a 46* fov which is supposed to be like watching a 80'' screen tv from 7' away.

No the cameras fov does not have to match the goggles fov, that camera you got would be fine.

The large fov in the goggles screen will give you a more immersed feeling while flying.
