disabling reverse

I'm obviously new to rc bikes,
so far everything I've ever had used reverse.
I've got some esc's I'd like to use that don't seem to have any way to disable reverse on them. Can it be done on the radio somehow?

It depends on a few things:
If your ESC is braking while your vehicle is still going forward, and only using Reverse when it stands still, or you push reverse a second time on the Radio, you should be fine.
In fact, being able to drive a bike backwards on it's bars can help if it got stuck

If the ESC only has reverse, and no brake (= turns the wheels backwards even if your bike is still going forward), you can only reduce the Reverse Travel on your Radio, until it does not have enough power to lock the wheel. This works too, but usually not that good.

well, I just made this topic totally irrelevant. I snapped the wheel off my transmitter. So I guess it doesn't matter if I have reverse or not :\
