Su-22M4 Fitter K, with plans, EDF version in post #71
Hi, everybody.
I want to build Su-22M4 in Polish Air Force colours. Su-22 is export version of Su-17. My goal is to make swing wings. My motivation - Su-22 from PhoenixRC sim.

Very fine detail in the (google sketchup?) 3D thing. Looking forward to the swing wing mechanism........

Today I did test glide for different swing wings.
The center of gravity has shifted to about 2cm (0,8inch) to the rear for the minimum wingspan .. Position 0 - max wingspan CG is 425mm (17in) from the back Position 1 - min wingspan CG is 405mm (16,2in )from the back I wonder if in the final model will have some meaning. Maybe is sufficient a small adjustment with elevator. |

I want to do vertical stabiliser like in real plane, as panel.
I have seen this solution in F15 by GWS. I use 9g servo to this.
What do you think, is would be good? Maybe it's better to give a stronger servo? I want to control plane only by elevons. There would not ailerons. |
