At the Moment the Dual Skyvan build is paused awaiting Carbon Fiber for the main wing spars etc. . . .But I will use the Center workshop for Primarily Balsa Builds.

Nice foam sealing technique DD....World have been better if you add light weight fiberglass cloth on the nose pieces.

I'm going to try using ur technique and then adding fiberglass cloth on and see what happens....

Not sure if Shellic can be added on the cloth once its all sanded smooth but worth a try and small experiment to do...

I already did it Sam . . .I did it on a 120 nose it works GREEEAAAATTT!

two weeks ago . . .I just layed the fiberglass into the mold the normal way and brushed the glue onto the fiberglass the same way I would the epoxy & let dry . . .thats it!

Wings for the van


I'm now mounting the left & right wings to the Skyvan's central wingbox, I'm later going to add the carbon fiber wing-spar to the full length of each wing and run the servo & motor wires then add the 2mm upper balsa to cover the wing.

Ohh yeah I almost forgot have to do this twice . .lol
