Van's cowls

Here is a slight problem Ive run into with the Van's engine ncaels . . . . .theyre to small in diameter to fit the 25-30mm diameter motors I wanna use so I'm gonna have to Hot-wire new ones about 2-3mm wider. . . . .No Biggie.

This "Elmer's" wood glue laminating solution looks to be a winner! only thing is you have to seal it after it dries.

There was a guy on Youtube using Minwax Water Based Polycryllic and tissue paper that made it look clean, light and simple. Now I can't find the video??

I've been doing that for a long time now. I also use coffee filter paper, but tissue paper comes in bigger sheets and is easier to handle as far as cutting, etc. both give excellent results, but aren't that strong. just good enough for hangar rash protection. honestly, liquid sheeting or EZE kote is just as good and easier to work with.
