Shorts Skyvan Balsa-Foam Mini-Liner!

Hi DemonDriver Here, In order to keep my Balsa skills from getting rusty I decided to build two new Mini-Liners using Mostly Balsa and a small fraction of foam, I plan to make these as The "Demon Box-Bird" and offer them as a Complete Depron & EP Kit in the near future, I'm in talks now with certain Laser & ep Cutters to get a Kit designed to sale to you.

I will am building two skyvans 1 Olympic & 1 BA-scottish . . . .Listen I want & look forward to any suggestions or ideas you can give me for this build.

I'm using a new technique for my plans . . I'm switching to tracing paper, its lighter, stronger & easier to use, but more expensive.

Let the construction begin, I'm using 5mm balsa sheet for the outer walls of the Skyvan's fuse & 4mm dollar tree foam for the top & bottum fuse panels &2mm depron for the internal bulkheads.I also added a Carbon fiber Rod for strenghthening the bottom fuse.

C00L... Thought I had flown in one of these from ABI to DFW back in the disco 70s; wrong! It was a CASA C-212 Aviocar on Chaparral Airlines. Would be a nice variation of this build.

I still have plenty of FFF and some ripped spruce and could knock this one out. Would be a lower cost than an EDF airliner. I have always been impressed with Foam and Tape's Twins airplane, this one falls into that category.
A couple of Blue Wonders for motors would get me in the ballpark size-wise.
