I have just completed my Schumate F22 conversion to EDF. I'm using twin 65 mm fans for power.
The fans came out of a friends Dynam A-10 model. All up weight on the plane is 24 oz and it balances perfectly at the 3' mark per the original design.

F22 maiden flight was quite successful. The battery overheated causing power loss and a quick return to landing. Slight damage to the nose section resulted. Easy repair to follow.

The fans generate less thrust in the F22 than the A10 they came from. Reason, the inlet area is insufficient. I'll need to build a larger model to scale the inlets properly. I suspect a 115% model will accomplish the task but I well run calc's first to make sure. This will reduce the strain on the battery also.

I enjoyed the flight but expected a higher speed from this configuration. The A10 was faster.
