OK, that makes more sense to me when you put it that way. And I do certainly admire the way HK is covering some more adventuresome subjects, regardless of nationality. Thanks Scott.

Scott,
Have you ever thought about the F-111 Aardvark

And they can even be "belly landers"

One down, one to go.

Well, one of them is out and the debate on whether or not only "the most popular" models of AC will sell is about to be answered rather definitively.

I would love to see a foamy shoot flames from it's ass lol. Even if it did mean the model burnt up in an instant. Would buy it just for that one moment hahahahaha.

True and considering the Sea Vixen had less than 200 built and never participated in anything more than minor conflicts , puts the anti P39 comments of limited significance/poor combat record, etc in an interesting light. That being said it is a cool bird. Hope it does well.

I recently refreshed the results for this poll. Interesting that the P-39 is 2 points behind the Typhoon. I thought this wasn't a popular plane...

Hmmmm, wouldn't be something to do with the P-39 fans coming out of the woodwork then! You are flogging a dead horse, P-39 becoming reality is a long, long, long way off.

Funny you put that one up there Craig. I have contemplated building that one but the retracts would be fiddly. I think that one is designed to flop.

No interest on your end for the P-39? Didn't the Aussies fly that one too?

Heya Alan,
the Aussies never operated P-39's from what i have read, it is one of those birds that i am a bit indifferent too i'm afraid. now an I-16, or an La-5/7 would get me interested, and if they ever did a twin an A-20 would get me rather excited not too concerned though, i well and truely have my hands full with the current project, and am in the process of trimming the fleet to make room for it!
i would think that retracts would be easy enough to add to the one that Manzano's is offering, it's a nice size to make them do-able, just need a bit of planning before starting the build. we really are spoilt for choice these days especially with the advances in electrics, and sevoless retracts, good times, good times!

Cheers
Craig
