i wished they sold just the airframe for like $14.99...
I have some micro gear I could put in....

Well I got mine in and this is how it arrived. I don't think the prop/gear/shaft assembly is supposed to be detached. Fired off an email to Tower. They're usually excellent when it comes to resolving issues like these. Still awaiting they're response.

This is great, and I called the Hobby Town local store that carries these FlyZone models. Hoped they could get one and I could redeem a gift card to drop the price even more. Sorry said Hobby Town, we can't get it for that sale price. Anyone got a suggestion for a way to get this through Hobby Town for the sale price?

He might be a new customer, Tower gives free shipping on $20 order to new customers

Mine is on its way back to Tower for a replacement due to the defective gearbox.

They had a UPS return label emailed to me which I printed and glued to the box.

They have stated they will send the replacement as soon as they have confirmed the package is on its way, rather than make me wait until they receive it.

With any luck I could have it by this time next week.

We'll see.

I sent Tower an email when I returned from the UPS Store this afternoon to inform them the package was on its way back. Expecting not to hear from them today, I was pleasantly surprised by their response this evening that my order is being filled and will be on its way tomorrow.

I logged in to my account and it is indeed being picked.

Huzzah!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Tower Hobbies customer service dept. is the best there is, without exception.

This is also how mine showed up. Only I called tower and they said they would send me a UPS label. This was Friday afternoon and I am trying to still get a label. Guess before a weekend is not a good time to try and get something returned.

Just got off the phone with them again. They said they are very busy and there is a note in my account to get a label to me, give it another 24 hours.

Just thought I would update, got my label. So I will be sending mine back tomorrow.
