Woke up Christmas to about a 0.25" of white stuff on the grass. None on any pavement. It was sort-of a White Christmas.

Started snowing here about dinner time. Was just outside with the dog, got about 1.25 to 1.5" now, moderate snow falling. Very light wind.

Oh Yeah! It's white now.

We got about 6" on average, some slight drifting, and everything is white.

Our American Eskimo got his first taste of real snow this morning, and he likes it---.

Thanks for thinking of us Tim---.

It's still snowing a bit here, but not a lot on the ground that I can't handle with a shovel.

Hardly worth dragging out the snowblower at this time---.

Went out today and the snow measured 9.25" deep in places where it was not disturbed. Still coming down lightly. Glad I don't have to go anywhere today.

You guys are making me so jealous

We lived in VA and never got anything but ice. Moved to NJ and NJ got ice and VA got snow.

Moved to IL. The snow might come down into view here, but it all gets blown into IN or OH, and this week, PA/NY/NJ!

We finally are going to see some of the white stuff this weekend after a week of rain. Temps going to drop to -4C tomorrow night with heavy rain forecast so i should make a nice day to stay inside & build the Marder that arrived yesterday from the Rick.

Just need to remember to park my gar underground so nobody slides into it while trying to learn how to drive on ice.

Nothing much just 6 more inches, still short about 5 feet.
We measure by the feet. Under 4 feet we are in trouble for the rest of the year.
6 feet we are ok. Above 6 feet we start bitching.
It will be rather frisky for the next days, with windchill warnings below -20.
Will make a 4 layer day feeding.
Next snow will come on Saturday, yeeeeeeeha, 4 feet to go till bitching.

Schrott, looks like you may be getting more this year ,it's still early.I hope so, I usually pick up 60-80 # of Pinto beans in Dove Creek to re-supply back in Pa. Ya need that water from the San Juan Mts. to grow the beans.if rain falls short.
The San Juan River flows past Bluff Ut,(my favorite area on the planet since 1962)and it's better when it's running high.
Your addition to the house got it's roof on just in time and it looks good.
Hope you get to the bitchin stage this year.
