Multiplex Permax 450 Turbo motors in short supply?

Does anyone know of any dealers that have the 450 Turbo motors in stock?
I placed an order with Multiplex a while back but it was back-ordered. I've been patient, but have now learned that they don't have any idea when they'll be getting any in. Also spoke with Kirk at New Creations and he had just sold his last one and isn't sure when he'll receive more.
Darned - just when I need speed I have difficulties getting this motor.
If you know of a place that has them IN STOCK at this time, please let me know.

Sorry... I that might have been me who took the last one from new creations ... at least I hope it's on the way soon....

I'm not sure where else to try, I just checked a few places and didn't see it listed anywhere... perhaps multiplex would be able to tell you some distributors?

I also have a horrible feeling that this motor may be disappearing.
There used to be piles of them at the local hobby shop, but I haven't seen any for a while.

AMA 697691 / FAA 13675
EAM sells them also.

I just got one from New Creations and it was backordered as well. Yesterday they got some in and shipped it out. They might have more.

I talked with Steve at DMA yesterday when I ordered a Mad Dog. He told me that he doesn't have, and cannot find anywhere, the Turbo 450 which is the motor he recommends for the Mad Dog. I said I already have two that I use in my Zagi. He said I was lucky.

I also suspect there is a real problem with the T450 supply line. Does anyone know if the T450 is used in elecrtic train models? I know that Sagami makes big motors for real trains. Maybe there is a supply at model railroading specialists. Just a thought.

To respond to all the helpful suggestions, I want to let you know that I called New Creations. They don't have any and haven't for awhile, but have been told that Multiplex expects to receive a shipment around July 30. They'll have them shortly thereafter. Also called EAM. They have an answering machine on and I haven't gotten a return call yet. And the third place I called was Diversity Model Aircraft - they are out of stock too!
The search continues...

Here's an update: Yesterday when I got home from work there was an email waiting for me from Multiplex. They have arranged for a LHS to send me one direct! How's that for good customer service?
I'll post praise for Multiplex in the Consumer Advocacy forum.

I got funny looks wehen asking for a Permax 450Turbo at all the modelshops I tried !
I eventually rang Flair direct, and the nice chap there sent me one . . .

As to availabitlity, I presumed that the lack of modelshop owners'/assistant's knowledge meant that this was a slightly specialised item . . .
