I was lucky enought to get my hands on the new flip quad from readytoflyquads.com, this comes with the Flip MWC 1.5 Gyro/Accelerometer board, i must say i am impressed!! this quad is amazingly stable, fast, and most importanly FUN!!

I would have to compare this board to the open pilot board if not better! its amazing , super smooth, very responsive, $20 not bad at all!!!

Here is some video of it in action i will be posting more soon.

uk shipping is $16 so maybe same to you? think this is a good deal ($19 flight controller) but shipping makes it not so great for UK buyers

I can ship frist class USPS. (I think this takes 1-2 weeks shipping) This will only cost you 3.99-5.99 If you only get a flight controller. If your out of the country, select "Paypal me for shipping", and I will pack and ship your board and invoice you for the shipping.

Hey guys do you have pics or info links for the flip frame?

Will it be sold as a bare frame only?

It looks like a great lightweight, simple, tough frame!

Cheers.

Witespy,

Can you post a pic of the complete flip quad or at least the flip frame? i don't see it yet at Hoverthings. Might want to get one of these for Christmas for my daughter to learn to fly on. Thanks, keep up the good work.

I just ordered one, hard to beat the price. Just wondering, is the preloaded firmware multiwii 2.1? I want to make sure I use the right config app.

I just got 2, MWC GUI 2.1 worked for me, so I believe the answer is yes

The auto level is excellent. That is the mode I usually fly. Snaps back to center but does not fight fast forward flight. I am very pleased.

Yep: "Pre-loaded with Quad X - MINThrottle/1220 - Motor stop =yes"

I can only recommend EOSBandi's MultiWii WinGUI:
http://code.google.com/p/mw-wingui/d...WinGUI-2.1.zip

Easy to use and more intuitive than the Java version.
