Rather lame, was expecting more. making special features for this radio makes the DX18 a bit of a joke, premium pricing for software features on the same hardware.

They're off their game for sure.

They started this Internet ad campaign for a special edition of their biggest, most expensive radio system, and only produced 2000 of them. There's no mass appeal due to the price, no mass sales due to the quantity, and heck... Personally, I think it's pretty ugly. Why would I want Quique's name slapped across the front of my $1200 top-end (for Spektrum, anyway) radio?

Hmmm... Honestly, I can't help but think that HH is marketing QQ just a little bit more than necessary.

If it flies.....I can crash it
so with all those great TX features the only video seen of the radio being used was NOT with any HH planes.................now that great.

No it was the lady at the JR indoor that always handles the JR questions. I posted back at the beginning that she was I charge of the promotion.

Anyone else seen the new banner ad here that they've got running?

It's funny how close I was at the beginning of the thread: "You're unique, just like 1999 other willing sheep".

It was NEVER about being midblowing, it's about being UNIQUE or in this case 2000 Uniques world wide so chances are if you get one you may very well be unique where you fly.

This will only be disappointing to the guy who shows up at the field and theres another guy with one also.

I hope that they have 2000 people on a mailing list somewhere that have a need for a $1200 transmitter. All I have to say about the marketing is: Boooo. Complete FAIL. It’s a total isolation of a majority of their market segment. The message is that if you cannot afford an overpriced excessive transmitter, then you are not unique. I feel as if they punched me directly in the twins.

They punched themselves, and they might have punched Quique. I'm laughing

So, you have to be an elite, to be unique?
I wouldn't want some dude's name scribbled all over my Tx either. It's not like he is some famous football palyer or movie star. He flies RC planes, just like the rest of us.

First the left testicle with the hyper taxi, now the right one with this radio? You'd think some people would learn but I guess horizon has no nads left to loose. Fail advertising X2

What was Horizon's marketing department thinking? A bunch of hype for...a fancy radio?

Does Horizon even bother reading these threads? I know Andy does, but their marketing dept needs to be fired or get a clue on what we actually want with what they're peddaling in ther Ads.
